Move without the site going dark, and without losing your mail.
Slow support, repeated downtime, outdated PHP versions, or a host that's simply been sold on and stopped caring: there are a lot of reasons to move. What stops people is the risk. A botched migration can take the site offline or break mail that's already flowing.
Done properly, a migration is boring in the best way. Nothing goes dark, and nobody outside the process notices it happened.

Stage
A full working copy goes up on the new host and gets tested there. Forms, payments and mail are checked while the live site carries on untouched.

Cut over
DNS switches at a quiet hour. Mail keeps flowing. The old host stays paid and live until propagation is finished everywhere.

You get every login, a written record of what sits where, and a plan for keeping it healthy, whether or not you keep me on retainer.

Questions
Before you ask.
Will my email stop working during the move?
No. Mail is moved and tested before DNS switches, and the old host stays live until everything is confirmed working.
How long does a migration take?
The move itself usually happens in a single session. DNS propagation can take up to 48 hours in the background afterwards.
What if my old host won't give me access?
I can usually work with whatever is exportable. Some hosts make this harder than others, and I'll flag it during the audit if that's the case.
Do you handle domain transfers too?
Only if you need that. Domain and DNS management can be handled separately without moving where the domain is registered.
What happens to my old hosting account?
That's your call. I'd recommend keeping it paid until the new setup is confirmed stable, usually a week or two.
Can you migrate from any host?
Most cPanel-based hosts, yes. I'll tell you upfront if something about your setup is unusual.
